Exporting your reviews

You own your reviews. The app makes it easy to export every review as a CSV — useful for backups, data analysis, or moving to another platform.

Exporting

In the app, go to the Reviews page and click Export. The CSV downloads immediately to your browser.

What's in the CSV

Every approved, pending, and rejected review is included with these columns:

• product_id — Shopify product ID
• product_title — product name at time of export
• rating — 1 through 5
• title — review title (may be empty)
• body — review text
• author — reviewer name
• email — reviewer email
• status — pending / approved / rejected
• verified_purchase — true or false
• date — submission date in ISO format
• source — app / import / storefront (where the review came from)

The CSV is UTF-8 encoded so non-Latin characters and emojis stay intact in Excel, Google Sheets, and Numbers.

Common uses

• Backups — export monthly and keep a copy. Useful if you ever change apps.
• Analytics — pivot in a spreadsheet to spot trends (rating distribution by product, reviewer volume by month)
• Migration — the export format is compatible with the import format, so you can move reviews between stores

What's NOT in the export

For privacy and file-size reasons, the CSV excludes:

• Photo URLs and binary photo data
• Helpful vote counts
• Merchant replies
• Country codes
