Structured Data Not Showing
What to check when Google or a testing tool does not see SEO Turbo's schema
If Google or a testing tool doesn't see SEO Turbo's structured data, work through these checks.
The app embed is off, or on a different theme
SEO Turbo prints structured data through the SEO Turbo app embed. In Shopify, go to Online Store > Themes, click Customize on your live theme, open App embeds and make sure SEO Turbo is on, then Save. If you've switched themes, turn it on in the new theme too. You can also open the setup guide again from Settings > Installation.
The type is off or not in your plan
On the Schema page, check that the type is switched on and click Save. Types that show a plan badge aren't included in your current plan, and SEO Turbo won't print them on your storefront. See Schema (Structured Data).
You just saved
Changes reach your storefront within about a minute. Reload the page, or run the test again after a minute.
Testing the wrong page
Each type appears on specific pages: Product on product pages, Organization and Website on the home page, Blog post on blog posts, Collection on collection pages. Breadcrumbs appear on every page except the home page. See Structured Data Output.
The FAQ block shows nothing
- FAQ must be on under Schema, and your plan must be Pro or higher.
- The FAQ (SEO Turbo) block must be added to the page in the theme editor.
- At least one question needs both a question and an answer.
The same type appears twice
If your theme prints its own structured data, testing tools may show the type twice or report conflicts. Run Theme Review to see which theme files print JSON-LD, then turn off either SEO Turbo's type or the theme's.
Google hasn't updated yet
Testing tools read the live page straight away, but Google Search can take days or weeks to recrawl a page and show rich results. Rich results are never guaranteed, even with valid markup.
