Plans & Premium Features

What Free, Growth and Premium include, plus milestones, analytics and scheduling

Free Shipping Bar has three plans. Everything shoppers see is on the Free plan — all three placements, the detected goals, country detection, currencies, the honest "not available" message and the languages — with no view limit. The paid plans are about control and measurement: Growth lets you decide the goals and where the bar shows, Premium lets you measure it, add goals beyond free shipping, and schedule it. You can change plan at any time from Settings > Billing; both paid plans start with a 7-day free trial.

What Each Plan Includes

  • Free — $0 — The top bar, the cart bar (drawer and cart page) and the product page bar; goals detected from your shipping zones and automatic free-shipping discounts; the right goal for each shopper's country, in their market currency; the honest "no free shipping to your country" message; the progress bar and the unlock celebration; 21 storefront languages; unlimited views.
  • Growth — $4.99/month, 7-day trial — Everything in Free, plus manual goals and per-country overrides, page and device targeting, a dismissible bar, and custom CSS.
  • Premium — $9.99/month, 7-day trial — Everything in Growth, plus milestone goals after free shipping, analytics, scheduling, and priority support.

Locked settings are always visible in the app, greyed out with a note saying which plan includes them, so you can see what you'd get before upgrading.

Why Manual Goals Are a Growth Feature

On the Free plan the bar shows exactly what your Shopify shipping settings say. If a goal is wrong, the fix is in Settings > Shipping and delivery in Shopify — correct the rate, click Sync now on Shipping goals, and the bar follows. That keeps the bar and your checkout in agreement by construction. Growth is for stores that need the bar to say something the shipping settings can't express: a promotional goal, a country exception handled outside shipping rates, or a weight-limited rate that needs different wording. See Manual Goals & Country Overrides.

Milestones (Premium)

A milestone is a second goal shown once free shipping is unlocked: "Add $32 more to get a free tote bag", then "You've unlocked a free tote bag!". Use it to keep the bar useful after the first goal is met and lift the average order a step further.

  • Open Settings > Bar behaviour > Milestones and click Add milestone.
  • Enter the threshold in your store currency and the reward in words, exactly as it should appear in the message, for example "a free tote bag" or "10% off".
  • Add up to three milestones. They are shown in ascending order, one at a time, after free shipping.
  • Click Save.

The app shows the milestone; it doesn't create the reward. Set up the free gift, discount or whatever you promised as an automatic discount in Shopify so shoppers actually receive it at checkout. Thresholds convert to the shopper's market currency the same way free shipping goals do. Milestone wording is editable under Translations.

Analytics (Premium)

The dashboard's metrics card and the analytics section show how the bar is doing for the current billing cycle:

  • Impressions — How many times a placement was shown.
  • Unlocks — How many times a shopper crossed the free shipping goal while a bar was visible.
  • Unlock rate — Unlocks as a share of impressions.
  • Top countries — Where your impressions and unlocks come from, which is a quick way to spot a country whose goal is set too high to be reached.

Figures are counted per day and per placement, so you can compare the top bar against the cart bar. Counting starts when you move to Premium; earlier activity isn't back-filled.

Scheduling (Premium)

A schedule shows the bar only between a start and an end date. Outside the window nothing renders — no top bar, no cart or product bars — so you don't need to switch the embed off and on around a campaign.

  • Open Settings > Bar behaviour > Schedule.
  • Set a start date and time and, optionally, an end. Leave either blank for open-ended.
  • Click Save.

Schedules work well with a temporary manual goal or override for a sale: set the promotional goal, schedule the bar for the sale dates, and switch the goal back afterwards.

Changing Plan

Open Settings > Billing and pick a plan. Shopify handles the charge on your regular Shopify bill, the trial starts straight away, and the new plan's features switch on immediately.

If you move to a lower plan, the storefront keeps working — every placement stays — but settings that belong to a higher plan stop applying: goals go back to the detected ones, overrides and targeting fall back to defaults, the close button disappears, custom CSS is no longer added, and milestones, analytics and schedules pause. Your values are kept, so upgrading again restores them.
