The sales count badge shows how many units of a product were sold recently. It builds trust by showing real purchase data from your store’s order history.
How Sales Counting Works
When an order is placed on your store, the app receives the order via webhook and records each line item. The badge sums up the quantity sold within your configured time window and displays it on the product page. The count is cached for 5 minutes to keep your store fast.
Adding the Block
Open the Theme Editor for your product page template
Click Add block in the section where you want the badge
Select Sales Count Badge from the app blocks
Choose an icon, set the minimum count to display, and adjust styling
Click Save
Settings
Configure the sales count from Settings > Social proof widgets in the app.
Count window — How far back to count sales. Available options depend on your plan:
Plan | Maximum Window |
Starter / Basic | 7 days |
Growth | 30 days |
Scale / Premium / Plus | 90 days |
A longer window shows higher numbers. “47 sold this week” vs “892 sold recently” — both are real, just different time ranges.
Minimum count — The badge is hidden when the count is below this number. Default is 5. Set higher to only show the badge on popular products.
Icons
Choose from several icon styles in the theme editor:
Bar chart — chart icon (default)
Trending — upward arrow
Shopping bag — bag icon
Checkmark — verified check
Flame — flame icon
Dot — simple dot
No icon — text only
Customizing the Text
The badge text is managed through Settings > Translations. Use {count} as a placeholder. For example: “{count} sold recently” or “{count} purchased this month.”
