If the split shipping checkbox (or button) is not appearing on your cart page, there are a few common causes to check.

App embed not enabled

Multi Ship requires the app embed to be turned on in your theme. Go to Online Store > Themes > Customize, then open App Embeds in the left sidebar. Make sure Multi Ship is toggled on and click Save. If you recently switched themes, you will need to enable the embed again on the new theme.

Cart has fewer than 2 items

The split shipping option only appears when there are at least two items in the cart. With a single item, there is nothing to split, so the checkbox is intentionally hidden. Add a second item to test.

Theme compatibility

Multi Ship works with most Shopify themes, but some heavily customized themes may use non-standard cart page structures. If the embed is enabled and you have multiple items in the cart but still do not see the checkbox, your theme’s cart page may need a small adjustment. Contact support with your theme name and we can help identify the issue.

Check display mode

If you are looking for a checkbox but have switched to Button mode (or vice versa), the element may look different than expected. Verify your current display mode in Settings > Display.

Browser cache

After enabling the app embed, try clearing your browser cache or opening your store in an incognito window. Cached pages may not reflect the latest changes.
