Sync Issues

Fix video syncing problems

Updated this week

If new videos aren’t appearing in your galleries or syncing seems stuck, here’s how to diagnose and fix it.

New Videos Not Appearing

  • Wait for the next sync — Videos sync on a schedule based on your gallery’s sync frequency. For immediate results, go to Sources, click the source, and click Sync.

  • Check the video’s privacy — Only public videos sync by default. Private videos never sync. Unlisted videos only sync if you’ve enabled “Include unlisted videos” in the gallery’s auto-sync settings.

  • Check your video limit — If you’ve reached your plan’s limit, syncing pauses. Your dashboard shows your current usage. Upgrade your plan or delete videos you don’t need to resume syncing.

Auto-Sync Not Running

Make sure auto-sync is actually enabled for the gallery:

  1. Go to Galleries and click the gallery

  2. Click Edit

  3. Under Auto-Sync Settings, verify the toggle is on and a frequency is selected

Auto-sync is only available for galleries connected to a source (channel or playlist). Manual galleries don’t auto-sync.

Videos Disappeared from a Gallery

This can happen if:

  • The video was deleted or made private on YouTube

  • The video was removed from the YouTube playlist (for playlist-based galleries)

  • The source was deleted from the app, which also removes its videos

Check your YouTube channel or playlist to confirm the videos still exist there.

Manual Sync Button Does Nothing

Verify that:

  • Your YouTube account is still connected (check Settings > Connected Accounts)

  • You haven’t reached your plan’s video limit

  • The source still exists in Sources
