Auto Sync

Configure automatic video syncing per gallery

Updated this week

Auto-sync checks YouTube for new videos on a schedule and adds them to your galleries automatically. Each gallery has its own sync settings, so you can sync your homepage gallery every 6 hours while a less active gallery syncs daily.

Setting Up Auto-Sync

  1. Go to Galleries and click on a gallery

  2. Click Edit

  3. Under Auto-Sync Settings, toggle Enable automatic syncing on

  4. Select a Sync Frequency

  5. Click Save

Auto-sync only works for galleries connected to a YouTube source (channel or playlist). Manual galleries don’t have sync settings since you control the videos yourself.

Available Sync Frequencies

Plan

Frequencies

Free

Every 24 hours

Growth

Every 12 or 24 hours

Professional

Every 6, 12, or 24 hours

Unlimited

Every 1, 6, 12, or 24 hours

Preferred Sync Time

On the Unlimited plan, you can choose a specific hour of the day for syncing. This is helpful if you publish videos at a predictable time and want the gallery to update shortly after.

If no time is set, syncs run at regular intervals based on the chosen frequency.

Include Unlisted Videos

By default, only public YouTube videos are synced. If you have unlisted videos you want to display:

  1. Edit the gallery

  2. Under Auto-Sync Settings, check Include unlisted videos

  3. Save

Private videos are never synced regardless of this setting.

Manual Sync

To pull new videos immediately without waiting for the next auto-sync:

  1. Go to Sources

  2. Click on a source

  3. Click Sync

This updates all galleries connected to that source.

Disabling Auto-Sync

Edit the gallery and toggle Enable automatic syncing off. Existing videos stay in the gallery — only future automatic syncing stops.
