If your video gallery isn’t showing up on your storefront, work through these checks in order. The most common cause is a missing or misconfigured theme block.
Video Gallery Block Not Added
The gallery needs a Video Gallery block in your theme to display.
Go to Online Store > Themes > Customize
Navigate to the page where you expect videos
Look for a Video Gallery block in the sidebar
If it’s missing, click Add section or Add block and select Video Gallery from Apps
Save
Gallery ID Not Entered
Each Video Gallery block needs a Gallery ID to know which gallery to show.
In the theme editor, click on the Video Gallery block
Check the Gallery ID field — if it’s empty, that’s why nothing displays
Copy the Gallery ID from your gallery page in the app and paste it in
Save
Only Shorts (or Only Full Videos) Showing
Each gallery has a Video Type filter that decides whether YouTube Shorts are included alongside full-length videos:
All videos — both Shorts and full videos appear (default)
Exclude Shorts — full-length videos only
Only Shorts — Shorts only
If your storefront only shows Shorts when you expected full videos (or the reverse), edit the gallery and switch Video Type to the option you actually want. The change is instant — no re-sync needed.
Gallery Has No Videos
If the Gallery ID is correct but the gallery itself is empty:
Auto-sync galleries — Check that the source has videos and run a manual sync from Sources
Manual galleries — Edit the gallery and select videos to include
Video Type filter — If you set Exclude Shorts but your channel only uploads Shorts (or vice versa), the gallery filters everything out. Switch the filter to All videos to confirm.
YouTube Account Disconnected
Videos can’t sync without a connected YouTube account. Check Settings > Connected Accounts to verify your YouTube channel is connected. If it shows as disconnected, click Connect to reconnect.
Theme Not Published
If videos appear in the theme preview but not on your live store, make sure you’ve published your theme changes. Click Save in the theme editor, then verify you’re editing the live (published) theme.
Browser Cache
Try viewing your store in an incognito/private window. If videos appear there, clear your browser cache.
