Installing a gallery on a page is a two-step flow: copy the Gallery ID from the app, then open the theme editor where the Image Gallery block is ready to drop in. The whole thing usually takes under a minute, and you can put the same gallery on as many pages as you like. The look of the gallery travels with it — the block only needs the ID.

The Two Steps

From any gallery’s page in the app:

  • Click Install to Theme - This opens the install screen.

  • Pick a theme and copy the Gallery ID - Choose the theme you want to install into (your live theme is marked “current”), then click the copy icon next to the Gallery ID. The ID is copied to your clipboard.

  • Click Open theme editor - The theme editor opens in a new tab with the Image Gallery block pre-loaded and ready to add.

  • Add the block to a section - Drop it into the section where you want the gallery to appear (any page works — home, product, custom pages, collection pages).

  • Paste the Gallery ID - In the block’s settings panel, paste your copied ID into the Gallery ID field.

  • Save - Click Save in the theme editor. The gallery is now live on your storefront.

You don’t pick a layout here. The gallery renders with the layout and images-per-row you set on its page in the app; the block’s own settings cover spacing, captions, the lightbox, and Grid tile shape.

Adding the Same Gallery to Multiple Pages

You can use the same gallery on as many pages as you want:

  • Repeat the install flow for each page, or

  • Add a second block to a different page manually and paste the same Gallery ID into its settings.

Both blocks stay in sync — update the gallery in the app (add images, change layout, reorder, adjust images per row) and every page using that Gallery ID picks up the change automatically.

Swapping One Gallery for Another

To change which gallery a block shows, you don’t need to remove and re-add the block:

  • Open the theme editor and click the Image Gallery block.

  • Replace the Gallery ID in the settings field with a different gallery’s ID (copy it from that gallery’s Install to Theme screen, or from the Installation page in the app).

  • Save - The block now shows the new gallery, in that gallery’s own layout, with this block’s spacing and caption settings unchanged.

Tips

  • Install on a dev or unpublished theme first if you want to preview before going live. The theme picker on the install screen lets you target any theme on your store.

  • Use the Installation page in the app to see every gallery next to its ID in one list — handy when you’re installing several at once.

  • Pin the app to your admin sidebar so you can find a Gallery ID quickly when you need it again.
