A gallery is the unit you install on a page — it groups a set of images, a layout, and a unique Gallery ID together so the theme block knows what to render. Everything about it lives on one page in the app: the title, the layout, how many images sit in a row, and the images themselves, all saved together. You can have as many galleries as your plan allows, and each one is independent.
Creating a New Gallery
From the app dashboard:
Open Galleries - Click Galleries in the sidebar (or the dashboard tile).
Click Create Gallery - The button is in the top right of the galleries list.
Fill in the title - The title is for your reference inside the app and doesn’t appear on the storefront. Use something descriptive like “Spring Lookbook” or “Customer Photos”.
Choose a layout and images per row - The same controls you’ll use later on the gallery page. You can change both at any time.
Add your images right away - Drag files into the drop zone on the create screen. They upload while you fill in the rest and are attached the moment the gallery is created.
Click Create gallery - You land on the gallery’s page with your images already in place.
The Gallery Page
The gallery page is a single canvas — settings at the top, images below, one Save for both:
Gallery settings card - Title, Layout, and Images per row, plus a Save button. A short note under the settings explains how the chosen layout uses the images-per-row number.
Desktop and Mobile toggle - In the top right of the settings card. Desktop sets the count used from 750 px wide upwards (2-6). Mobile narrows the canvas to phone width and swaps in a separate count for narrower screens (1-4). Both are stored on the gallery and both are honoured by your storefront.
Images card - Your actual images, laid out in the layout you picked. It doubles as the preview: change the layout or the column count and the canvas re-flows immediately.
Toolbar buttons - Import from Collection, Select from Library, and Upload images.
Install to Theme - In the page header, for when you’re ready to put the gallery on a page.
Saving Your Changes
Everything on the page is one form:
Make your changes - Edit the title, pick a layout, change images per row, drop in new images.
A save bar appears at the top of the page as soon as anything is unsaved.
Click Save - Either the save bar’s Save or the button in the settings card. Both save the settings and any pending uploads together.
Click Discard in the save bar to throw the changes away and return to the last saved state.
Two actions save on their own and don’t wait for the Save button: dragging images into a new order, and setting a Mosaic tile size from the badge on a tile.
Renaming a Gallery
Change the Title field in the gallery settings card and save. There is no separate edit page — the gallery page covers everything. The Gallery ID never changes when you rename, so blocks already using it keep working.
The Gallery ID
Every gallery gets a permanent Gallery ID like gal_abc123. This is the value you paste into the theme block to link the block to a gallery. You’ll find it in two places:
On the Install to Theme screen for that gallery, with a one-click copy button.
On the Installation page, which lists every gallery next to its ID.
