Video Sources

Connect YouTube channels and playlists

Updated this week

A source is a YouTube channel or playlist that the app pulls videos from. Once connected, videos sync automatically based on your gallery settings.

Adding a Source

  1. Go to Sources and click Add Source

  2. Select whether you’re adding a Channel or Playlist

  3. Choose the channel or playlist from the list

  4. Click Add

The app immediately imports all available videos from that source.

Channels vs Playlists

  • Channel — Gives the app access to all uploaded videos from that YouTube channel. Best when you want everything available to use in galleries.

  • Playlist — Only imports videos from a specific YouTube playlist. Useful when you organize content into categories (tutorials, product demos, reviews, etc.) and want to keep them separate.

You can add multiple sources to the same account.

Syncing Videos

When you upload a new video to YouTube, the app picks it up during the next sync cycle. Sync frequency is configured per gallery (see Auto-Sync Settings).

To sync immediately, go to Sources, click on a source, and click Sync.

Removing a Source

  1. Go to Sources

  2. Click the source you want to remove

  3. Click Delete

Deleting a source also removes all videos that were imported from it.
