The dashboard is designed so you can walk in every morning, look at the screen, and know what to do. It leads with inventory intelligence (what’s healthy, what needs attention) and keeps the operational actions one click away.
Inventory KPIs
At the top of the dashboard, a row of KPI tiles summarises the state of your inventory:
Tracked SKUs — total variants the app is watching (excludes untracked and archived)
Inventory Value — on-hand quantity × cost, across every tracked variant
Reorder Now — variants where days of stock are below your reorder point
Low Stock — variants close to the reorder point (early warning)
Out of Stock — tracked variants at 0 on-hand
Sales (30d) — units sold across the last 30 days
Each KPI is clickable — tapping takes you to the Inventory page pre-filtered to that bucket.
Stock Health Breakdown
Below the KPIs, the Stock Health card breaks down every tracked variant into three buckets with a colored segmented bar: In Stock, Low Stock (includes Reorder Now), and Out of Stock. Each tile is clickable and filters the inventory page.
Dead stock is intentionally excluded from this view — it answers a different question (movement over time) and would muddy the current-state picture for slow-turnover categories. You’ll find it in the Needs Attention sidebar and as a filter on the Inventory page.
Needs Attention Sidebar
Next to Stock Health, the Needs Attention card lists the two counts you most often need to act on today: Reorder Now and Out of Stock. Both link directly into the Inventory page filtered to that bucket, so you can go straight from “something’s wrong” to “here are the SKUs to fix.”
Start Task
The primary action in the top right of the dashboard is Start Task. It opens a picker with the four operational workflows:
Count Stock — reconcile physical shelves against Shopify
Receive Stock — check in a delivery
Transfer Stock — move inventory between locations
Purchase Order — reorder from a supplier
Pick one and the app pre-selects the right count type so you’re one click away from scanning.
Open Stock Takes
If you have any scan sessions in progress, an Open Stock Takes table appears with the three most recent, showing name, type, status, location, and item count. Click any row to jump back in. The full history lives on the Stock Takes page.
