Stock Control sends a weekly inventory digest email on Monday mornings summarising the state of your inventory. It’s designed to be the one email you need to read before planning your week.

What the Digest Contains

  • Reorder Now count — variants that need a PO this week

  • Out of Stock count — tracked variants at zero across all locations

  • Dead Stock count — variants with no sales in the last 90 days

  • Highlighted SKUs — the top few in each bucket, with direct links to the Inventory page pre-filtered

The email is intentionally short — it’s a nudge to open the app, not a replacement for the dashboard.

Who Gets It

The digest goes to every user on your account who has email notifications turned on. Users can opt out individually via Settings > Email Preferences. Turning off the digest doesn’t affect other notifications (e.g. PO receipt confirmations).

Using It Effectively

  • Treat the digest as your Monday-morning trigger to run reorder work

  • Click through to the Inventory page instead of trying to act from the email — the in-app view has live filters, trend indicators, and the adjustment drawer

  • If you never find the digest useful because your volumes are low, turn it off — there’s no penalty

Variants Excluded from the Digest

Variants with Exclude from Alerts turned on won’t be counted in the digest’s Reorder Now, Out of Stock, or Dead Stock numbers. Use this toggle on variants you’re deliberately running down or seasonal SKUs you don’t want to see every Monday. Set it from any variant’s drawer on the Inventory page.
