Translations

Customize widget text and support multiple languages.

Updated this week

Customize all text displayed by the app’s widgets through Settings > Translations. This lets you match your store’s voice and support multiple languages.

What Can Be Translated

All social proof widget labels are translatable:

  • Live visitor count — real-time label (“X people are viewing this right now”), today fallback, recent fallback, and singular versions of each

  • Cart activity — real-time, today, and recent labels

  • Sales count badge — plural and singular labels

  • Recent purchase popup — purchase text with city, without city, and time labels

  • Recently Viewed Products widget — heading text, button labels

Editing Translations

  1. Go to Settings > Translations in the app

  2. Click on the language you want to edit

  3. Update the text for each label

  4. Click Save

Changes are synced to your storefront automatically.

Placeholders

Use these placeholders in your translation text:

  • {count} — the number (visitor count, cart count, sales count)

  • {name} — buyer’s name in purchase popups

  • {city} — buyer’s city in purchase popups

  • {product} — product title in purchase popups

  • {minutes} — time ago in purchase popups

Multi-Language Stores

For stores with multiple languages, add a new language in Settings > Translations and provide translated text for each label. The app automatically displays the correct language based on the customer’s selected locale.
