Updated today

The Multi Ship dashboard gives you a central place to view and manage all split shipping orders. You can track each shipment’s status from creation through fulfillment.

Dashboard overview

The main dashboard shows key metrics at a glance, including the number of split orders, pending shipments, and recently completed orders.

Order list

The orders page displays all split shipping orders with search and filters. You can search by order number or customer name, and filter by fulfillment status or date range. Each row shows the parent order number, customer name, number of shipments, and overall status.

Parent orders vs child shipments

When a customer splits their cart, Multi Ship creates a parent order (the original Shopify order) and one or more child orders (one per shipping address). The order list shows parent orders, and clicking into one reveals all its child shipments.

Order detail page

The detail view shows the parent order at the top with its child shipments below. Each shipment displays the destination address, assigned items, shipping method, gift notes (if any), and fulfillment status. A timeline tracks key events like order creation, payment, and fulfillment updates.

Fulfillment tracking

As you fulfill child orders in Shopify, Multi Ship automatically updates their status in the dashboard. You can see which shipments are unfulfilled, in progress, or completed at a glance.

Fulfilling orders

You fulfill each child order directly in your Shopify admin, just like any regular order. Multi Ship does not change your fulfillment workflow. It simply organizes split orders so you can track which shipments belong together.
