If your quantity rules are not being enforced on the storefront, work through these checks in order. Most issues are resolved by the first two steps.
Check that the app embed is enabled – Go to Online Store > Themes > Customize, then open App Embeds (the puzzle piece icon in the left sidebar). Make sure the Order Limits embed is toggled On and click Save. Without this, the app cannot modify your product pages or cart.
Verify the rule is set to Active – Open the rule in the app and confirm its status is Active. If you are using scheduling, check that the current date falls within the start and end dates.
Confirm products are assigned – Open the rule and verify the correct products or variants are listed. If you recently added new variants to a product, you may need to update the rule to include them.
Check for scheduling dates – If the rule has a start date in the future, it will not activate until that date. If it has an end date in the past, it has already expired. Remove or update the dates as needed.
Check for conflicting rules – If multiple rules apply to the same product, the app uses the most specific match. A variant-level rule overrides a product-level rule. Review your rules list to make sure there are no conflicts.
Clear your browser cache – Theme assets can be cached by your browser. Try a hard refresh (Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows, Cmd+Shift+R on Mac) or open the page in an incognito/private window.
Test in a different browser – Browser extensions (especially ad blockers) can interfere with app scripts. Test in a clean browser or incognito window to rule this out.
If none of these resolve the issue, contact support with your store URL and the rule you are trying to enforce.
