Managing Links
Once you’ve created short links, you’ll need to view, organize, and maintain them. This guide covers link management in the dashboard.
Viewing All Links in Dashboard
Your main dashboard displays all short links in a table format. Each row shows:
Name/Key - The link name or unique key identifier
Destination - The target URL (truncated for long URLs)
Clicks - Total click count
Status - Active or expired indicator
Created - When the link was made
Click any row to view the full link details.
Filtering by Active/Expired Status
Use the tab filters above the links table to narrow your view:
All
Shows every link in your account, regardless of status.
Active
Displays only links that are currently working:
No expiration date set, OR
Expiration date is in the future
Expired
Shows links that have passed their expiration date and no longer redirect visitors.
Editing Link Details
To modify an existing link:
Click on the link in your dashboard to open details
Click Edit Notes (or the edit button)
Update the link name or notes
Save your changes
What you can edit:
Link name
Notes/description
What you cannot edit:
The unique key (URL path)
The destination URL
If you need to change the destination URL, create a new link and delete the old one.
Deleting Links
To permanently remove a short link:
Open the link details page
Click Delete (usually shows a confirmation dialog)
Confirm the deletion
Important: Deleted links cannot be recovered. After deletion:
The short URL immediately stops working
Visitors will see “Not Found”
Click analytics are preserved in reports
Consider if you really need to delete, or if letting the link expire is sufficient.
Copying and Sharing Links
From the link details page, you can easily copy your short link:
Locate the short link URL display
Click the Copy button (clipboard icon)
The URL is copied to your clipboard
Paste it anywhere: emails, social media, print materials
Sharing tips:
Test the link before sharing to large audiences
Use custom keys for memorable URLs in print
Include UTM parameters for campaign tracking
