The Reports page provides comprehensive analytics for all your short links. View click trends, identify top performers, and analyze traffic sources in one place.

Accessing the Reports Page

  1. Open the Short Links app

  2. Click Reports in the navigation menu

  3. View your analytics dashboard

Reports require a paid plan. Free plan users see an upgrade prompt instead of analytics data.

Understanding Click Charts

The main reports page features an interactive line chart showing clicks over time.

Reading the Chart

  • X-axis - Dates in your selected range

  • Y-axis - Number of clicks

  • Line - Daily click volume

  • Hover - Shows exact count for any date

What to Look For

  • Spikes - Indicate successful campaign launches or promotions

  • Trends - Upward or downward patterns over time

  • Patterns - Weekly cycles (higher on certain days)

  • Dips - May indicate issues or seasonal lulls

Below the chart, you’ll find a table of your best-performing links:

Use this data to:

  • Identify your most effective links

  • Replicate successful link strategies

  • Focus on high-performing campaigns

  • Find underperformers to investigate

Click View on any link to see its individual report.

Referrer Breakdown

The referrers section shows where your traffic originates:

Common referrer types:

  • Social platforms - facebook.com, instagram.com, twitter.com

  • Email services - gmail.com, outlook.com

  • Direct traffic - No referrer (bookmarks, typed URLs)

  • Other sites - Websites linking to your short URLs

Insights from referrer data:

  • Which social platforms drive most traffic

  • Email campaign effectiveness

  • Unexpected traffic sources

  • Partner or affiliate referrals

Date Range Selection

Filter reports by clicking date range buttons at the top:

Click a range to update the chart and all statistics. Compare different periods to understand performance over time.

For detailed analysis of a specific link:

  1. Find the link in the Top Performing Links table

  2. Click View in the Actions column

  3. See the dedicated link report page

Individual reports include:

  • Total clicks for the period

  • Click chart specific to that link

  • Top referrers for just that link

  • Country breakdown (if available)

You can also access link reports from:

  • The link details page (click “View full analytics”)

  • The dashboard by clicking any link

Plan Requirements

Reports and analytics require a paid subscription:

Free Plan

  • Cannot access detailed reports

  • Sees upgrade banner instead

  • Basic click counts visible on individual links

  • Full Reports page access

  • Interactive charts

  • Date range filtering

  • Top links analysis

  • Referrer breakdown

  • Individual link reports
