Understanding Analytics
Announcer tracks how visitors interact with your announcement bars so you can measure their impact. Analytics are available on the Dashboard for a quick overview and on the Analytics page for detailed breakdowns.
What Is Tracked
Views – Each time a visitor sees an announcement bar on your storefront.
Clicks – Each time a visitor clicks a link on an announcement bar.
Click Rate – Clicks divided by views, shown as a percentage.
Trend Indicators
The Views and Clicks totals each carry a badge comparing them to the period immediately before the one you’re looking at, of the same length. Viewing the last 7 days compares against the 7 days before that; viewing a single day compares against the day before.
Green, with an upward arrow – higher than the previous period.
Red, with a downward arrow – lower than the previous period.
No badge – there is no earlier data to compare against yet, so any percentage would be misleading. New stores see this until a full period passes.
Performance Badges
The Performance column of the announcement performance table rates each bar’s click rate at a glance:
Good (above 2%) – Your bars are performing well.
Average (1% to 2%) – There is room for improvement.
Low (below 1%) – Consider revising your message, design, or call-to-action.
Plan Differences
Free plan – Basic analytics with aggregate view and click totals.
Paid plans – Detailed per-announcement tracking, charts, performance badges, and a full announcement performance table.
Tip: If a bar has many views but few clicks, try making the call-to-action more prominent or updating the message copy.
