The image library is your shared pool of every image you’ve uploaded to the app. Instead of re-uploading the same product photo for every gallery, you upload it once and add it to as many galleries as you need. This keeps your storage usage low and means any edits — like updating alt text for SEO — propagate everywhere.
How the Library Works
Every time you upload an image to any gallery, that image is also saved to your library:
One upload, many galleries - Add the same image to a “New Arrivals” gallery, a “Featured Products” gallery, and a homepage gallery without re-uploading.
Editing applies everywhere - Updating an image’s title, description, or alt text updates it in every gallery it’s used in.
Position and tile size stay per gallery - Where an image sits in the order, and its Mosaic tile size, belong to each gallery separately. The same photo can lead one gallery and sit fifth in another.
Removing from a gallery keeps it in the library - The image stays available; only its placement in that one gallery is removed.
Adding Library Images to a Gallery
Open the gallery you want to add images to and look for the Select from Library button in the images card toolbar:
Click Select from Library - A picker opens showing every image already in your library.
Pick multiple images - Tap each image you want to add. Selected images get a highlight.
Confirm your selection - The chosen images appear at the end of the gallery canvas with a “Library” badge so you can tell them apart from images already saved.
Click Save - Use the save bar or the Save button in the settings card. Until you save, the picks aren’t linked yet; the small x on a badged tile drops it again.
If the Select from Library button isn’t showing, it means every image in your library is already in this gallery, or the library is empty.
Editing an Image’s Details
Hover over any image in a gallery and click the edit icon in its top-right corner. From there you can set:
Title - Shown as the caption when Image titles is enabled in the block settings.
Alt text - Important for accessibility and SEO. Describe what the image shows.
Description - A longer line shown when Image descriptions is enabled in the block settings.
Edits save straight to the library, so every other gallery using the same image picks up the new text immediately.
Removing vs Deleting
These two actions are different:
Remove from gallery - The image stays in your library and in any other gallery that uses it. Use this when you just want to swap something out of one gallery.
Delete from library - The image is gone everywhere, and storage is freed up. Use this only when you no longer need the file at all.
