Customer Account Extension

Add wishlist to the new customer accounts

Shopify’s new customer accounts are where logged-in shoppers already manage their orders, addresses, and profile. Adding the wishlist right alongside those tabs makes it part of the home base they already know — no separate page to remember, no extra link to find.

Turn the extension on

You can do this from Wishlist or from Shopify’s checkout editor.

From Wishlist:

  1. Go to Wishlist > Settings > Installation

  2. Click Add to Customer Accounts

From Shopify:

  1. Open the Checkout editor in your Shopify admin

  2. Click Apps in the left sidebar

  3. Find Wishlist and turn it on

  4. Drag it into the customer account navigation

  5. Click Save

The wishlist now appears as a section inside your customers’ account pages.

What customers see

A Wishlist link appears in their account navigation. Clicking it shows:

  • Every saved product with its image and title

  • Current price and availability

  • Quick add-to-cart buttons

  • A remove option

The extension picks up your storefront styling automatically, so it matches the rest of the account portal.

Should you use this or the standalone wishlist page?

Most stores use both — the extension for logged-in shoppers and the standalone page for guests and shareable links.
