Managing Products in a Listing
Products are the individual Shopify products that make up a combined listing. Each product is assigned a unique set of option values so customers can switch between them on the storefront.
Adding Products
Open a listing and click Edit (or create a new listing)
Click Add products in the Products section
The Shopify product picker opens – search for and select the products you want to include
Each selected product appears in the form with fields for its option values
You can add as many products as your plan allows. Each product must already exist in your Shopify catalog.
Assigning Option Values
Every product in a listing must have a value for every option. When you add a product, you will see input fields for each option the listing uses.
For example, if the listing has a “Color” option and a “Size” option, each product needs both a Color value and a Size value:
Product A: Color = Red, Size = Large
Product B: Color = Red, Size = Small
Product C: Color = Blue, Size = Large
Unique Combinations
Each product must have a unique combination of option values. No two products can share the exact same values across all options. If you try to save a listing where two products have identical combinations, you will see an error message identifying the conflict.
When a listing has only one option, every product must have a different value for that option.
Reordering Products
The order of products in a listing determines the display order on the storefront. To change the order:
Open the listing detail page
Drag a product row using the handle on the left side
Drop it in the new position
The new order saves automatically and syncs to the storefront.
Editing Products
To change the option values assigned to a product:
Open the listing and click Edit
Find the product in the list
Update its option value fields
Click Save
When editing a large listing, you can use the search field to find specific products by name.
Removing Products
To remove a product from a listing:
Open the listing and click Edit
Click the Remove button on the product you want to remove
Click Save
Removing a product from a listing does not delete the product from your Shopify catalog. It only removes the association between the product and the listing.
Tips:
Put the most important or best-selling product first. It will be the default selection when a customer visits any product in the listing.
For listings with many products, use the search field in the edit form to quickly find the product you need to update.
If you need to add a large number of products at once, the app processes them in the background and shows a progress indicator.
