Positioning and Display

These settings control where the announcement bar appears on the page and how it looks. All of them update the live preview in real time, so you can experiment without saving first.

Position

Choose where the bar sits relative to the rest of the page:

  • Top (default) – The bar appears above the page content, typically above or just below the header.

  • Bottom – The bar appears below the page content, fixed to the bottom of the viewport.

Top positioning is the most common choice. Bottom positioning works well for cookie notices, consent banners, or secondary promotions that should not compete with the main header area.

Display

Controls the visual width and shape of the bar:

  • Inline – The bar spans the full width of the page with square corners. It blends into the layout as a continuous strip.

  • Floating – The bar is narrower than the page, centered horizontally, and has rounded corners with a small margin around it. This gives it a card-like appearance that stands out from the page.

Sticky

When Sticky is enabled, the bar stays visible as visitors scroll down the page. It remains pinned to its position (top or bottom) instead of scrolling away.

Enable this for important messages that visitors should always see, such as a limited-time offer or a shipping deadline. Disable it for less critical announcements so the bar scrolls out of view and does not take up permanent screen space.

Alignment

Controls the horizontal alignment of text inside the bar:

  • Left – Text is aligned to the left edge.

  • Center (default) – Text is centered in the bar.

  • Right – Text is aligned to the right edge.

Center alignment works best for short, single-line messages. Left alignment can be more readable for longer text. Right alignment is uncommon but available if your design calls for it.

Dismissible

When Dismissible is enabled, a small X close button appears on the bar. Visitors can click it to hide the announcement for the rest of their session.

This is a good choice for non-critical announcements like welcome messages or newsletter sign-up prompts. For time-sensitive promotions or important shipping notices, you may want to leave it disabled so the bar stays visible throughout the visit.
