If you’re having trouble connecting your YouTube account or your connection stopped working, here are the most common causes and fixes.
No YouTube Channel Found
Your Google account needs a YouTube channel. If you’ve never created one:
Go to YouTube Studio
Follow the prompts to create a channel
Come back to the app and try connecting again
Wrong Google Account Selected
If you manage multiple Google accounts, you may have connected with the wrong one.
Sign out of all Google accounts in your browser
Sign into only the Google account that owns your YouTube channel
In the app, go to Settings > Connected Accounts, disconnect the current account, and reconnect
Brand Account Not Showing
Business YouTube channels are often under a Brand Account, which is separate from your personal Google account. When connecting, look for a screen that lets you choose which channel to use. Select your business channel, not your personal one.
If you missed it, disconnect and reconnect — the channel selection screen appears during the connection process.
Permission Errors
If the app can’t access your videos, you may not have granted the required permissions.
Find YouTube Video Gallery and remove it
Reconnect in the app — this time, make sure to allow all requested permissions
Connection Stopped Working
YouTube connections can break after a password change or Google security review. Go to Settings > Connected Accounts and click Connect to re-authorize.
