Cart and checkout display settings control how customer selections appear after they add to cart. Show customization details clearly so customers can verify their choices and your team can fulfill orders accurately.

Showing Selections at Checkout

When enabled, customer selections appear as line item properties:

  1. Edit an option

  2. Scroll to Cart & Checkout Display

  3. Enable Show Customer Selection at Checkout

  4. Save the option

Selections display like: “Color: Red” or “Engraving: John Smith”

This information appears in:

  • Shopping cart

  • Checkout page

  • Order confirmation

  • Order admin

Merge to Product

For priced options, choose whether they appear as separate line items or merged with the main product:

  • Disabled - Priced options appear as separate cart line items. Customer sees the main product plus each add-on with its own price.

  • Enabled - Priced options merge into the main product price. Customer sees one line item with the combined total.

To enable:

  1. Edit an option with pricing

  2. In Cart & Checkout Display, enable Merge to Product

  3. The option price adds to the main product instead of creating a new line

Custom Display Labels

Change how option names appear in cart and checkout:

  1. Edit an option

  2. In Cart & Checkout Display, find Display Label

  3. Enter a custom label

  4. Leave empty to use the option name

Examples:

  • Option name “engraving_text” → Display label “Engraving”

  • Option name “wrap_style” → Display label “Gift Wrap”

This creates cleaner, customer-friendly display without changing your internal naming.

Plan Requirements

Cart and checkout display features require the Professional plan or higher.
