Every store has its own voice. Whether you’re localizing for international customers or simply prefer “Favorites” over “Wishlist,” translations let you customize every text string to match your brand and audience.
Enabling Translations
Translations are available on Advanced plan and above:
Go to Wishlist > Translations
Select your store’s language from the dropdown
Edit any text strings you want to customize
Click Save
Note: Translation features require the Advanced plan or higher.
Supported Languages
Wishlist includes translations for:
English (default)
Spanish
French
German
Italian
Portuguese
Dutch
Japanese
Korean
Chinese (Simplified & Traditional)
And many more…
Your store’s primary language is detected automatically from Shopify settings.
Custom Text Overrides
Even without multiple languages, you can customize text:
Go to Wishlist > Translations
Select your primary language
Edit any text strings
Click Save
Examples:
Change “Wishlist” to “Favorites”
Change “Add to Wishlist” to “Save for Later”
Change “My Wishlist” to “Saved Items”
