Confirmation Messages

Configure what customers see when they add items to their wishlist.

Confirmation messages reassure customers that their item was saved successfully. The right style balances helpful feedback with uninterrupted browsing—whether that’s a quick toast notification or a modal with next-step options.

Confirmation Styles

Choose how confirmations appear to customers:

  • Modal (Center Popup) - A centered popup that requires acknowledgment. Best for drawing attention, showing additional options, and promoting wishlist features.

  • Toast (Corner Notification) - A small notification that appears briefly in the corner. Best for minimal interruption, quick feedback, and stores with frequent wishlist usage.

Configure this in Wishlist > Storefront > Confirmation Style.

What Customers See When Adding Items

The confirmation message includes:

  • Product name and image

  • Success message (“Added to your wishlist!”)

  • Link to view the wishlist

  • Option to continue shopping

For multiple lists, customers may also see:

  • Which list the item was added to

  • Option to move to a different list

Customizing Confirmation Content

Personalize your confirmation messages:

  1. Go to Wishlist > Translations

  2. Find the confirmation message keys

  3. Edit the text to match your brand voice

  4. Click Save

Example customizations:

  • “Nice choice! We’ll keep this saved for you.”

  • “Added to your favorites!”

  • “Saved! Don’t let this one get away.”

You can also customize:

  • Button text (“View Wishlist”, “Keep Shopping”)

  • Empty state messages

  • Error messages
