Confirmation Messages

Configure what customers see when they add items to their wishlist.

When a shopper saves an item, they need to know it worked — otherwise they’ll click again, or worse, assume nothing happened and move on. The right confirmation style strikes a balance between clear feedback and uninterrupted browsing.

Pick the confirmation style

  1. Go to Wishlist > Storefront

  2. In the Confirmation section, pick a style:

    • Modal — A centered popup the shopper has to dismiss. Best when you want to draw attention or surface follow-up actions.

    • Toast — A small notification that appears briefly in the corner. Best for stores where shoppers save items often.

  3. Click Save

Customize the wording

Want to say “Saved to your favorites!” instead of “Added to your wishlist!”? You can edit every text string used in the storefront.

  1. Go to Wishlist > Translations

  2. Pick your storefront language

  3. Find the confirmation message keys (search for “added” or “saved”)

  4. Edit the text

  5. Click Save

Some wording ideas:

  • “Nice choice! We’ll keep this saved for you.”

  • “Added to your favorites!”

  • “Saved! Don’t let this one get away.”

You can also rewrite the button labels (“View wishlist”, “Keep shopping”), empty state copy, and error messages from the same screen.

Translations are available on the Advanced plan and above.
