Theme Descriptions

Standard

  • Default Look: Familiar map style that includes essential geographic details (roads, landmarks, etc.)

  • Versatile: Works well for most store designs and user preferences

Light

  • Minimalistic Design: Uses lighter shades for roads and terrain

  • Clean Aesthetic: Ideal if you have a modern or minimalist brand look

Dark

  • Nighttime Feel: Employs darker backgrounds with lighter text for strong contrast

  • High Contrast: Offers an edgy or premium vibe that can stand out

Satellite

  • Realistic Imagery: Displays satellite photos for a more detailed, real-world view

  • Immersive Experience: Great for showcasing specific landmarks or giving a sense of environment


How to Apply a Map Theme

  1. Open the Theme Editor

    • Go to Online Store > Themes in your Shopify admin

    • Click Customize on your live theme

    • Navigate to your Store Locator page or the relevant section

  2. Locate Map Theme Settings

    • Within the Store Locator settings in the theme editor, look for Map Theme, Map Style, or Map Appearance

  3. Select Your Preferred Theme

    • Pick Standard, Light, Dark, or Satellite from the dropdown menu

    • Preview changes in real time before saving

  4. Save and Publish

    • Click Save in the theme editor

    • Open your live storefront to confirm the chosen theme looks as intended
