  4. Activate the App: You will be redirected to your Shopify admin dashboard. Grant the necessary permissions by clicking Install app.

Complete Integration Steps

Upon installation, you will see welcome screen below:

To ensure Store Locator is fully integrated with your store, please complete the steps in each card:

Choose Your Theme

On the first welcome card, select your Shopify theme. This choice determines where Store Locator map will appear.

Why Choosing a Theme Matters?

  • Designated Display: The theme you select is where all Wishlist Pro functionalities—like the wishlist button on product pages and customer account pages—will appear. This ensures a consistent look and feel that matches your store’s design.

  • Future Theme Changes: If you decide to switch themes later, you will need to reactivate Store Locator on the new theme. This step ensures that the app's features are properly applied and visible on your updated storefront.

Choose Map Provider

The app supports three map providers: OpenStreetMap, Mapbox, and Google Map.

  • OpenStreetMap:
Completely free with no API key required. It provides reliable map data with its own distinct look.

  • Mapbox:
Requires a paid API key. Mapbox offers a generous free tier, making it an excellent choice for stores with low to moderate traffic.

  • Google Map:
Also requires a paid API key with usage-based pricing. Google Map provides a familiar design and may appeal to users who prefer its visual style

Note on API Key Charges:
In essence, your choice will primarily affect the map's aesthetics and overall cost. Consider the pricing structure and design features of each provider to select the option that best aligns with your needs.

This ensures your map displays accurately and integrates seamlessly with your store.

Add a “Store Locator” Block to a Page

Let your customers easily add products to their lists. Add a wishlist button directly on product pages.

1. Click “Add Block” on the third card

2. In your theme editor and place the store locator map on your page. You can add the map to any page.

Save your changes. On app setup page click "Finish Setup"

Start Adding Locations

Once your Store Locator page is set up, it's time to add your store locations. You can either add them manually or import them in bulk.

Manual Entry

  1. Access the Location Manager:
Log into your Shopify admin and navigate to the Store Locator app dashboard.

  2. Add a Location:
Click on the "Create" button and enter the store's details, such as name, address, contact information, and operating hours.

Save each entry to update your map.

Bulk Import

  1. Prepare Your CSV File:
Compile your store data in a CSV file, including fields like store name, address, phone number, and additional details.

  2. Import Locations:
In the app dashboard, locate the Import button option.
Follow the prompts to upload your CSV file. The app will process the file and add all your locations automatically.

  3. Review Your Data:
After importing, verify that all details have been correctly imported to ensure accurate display on your map.

The bulk import feature is ideal for stores with multiple locations, saving you time and ensuring consistency in your data entry.
