Multi Ship displays text on your storefront during the split shipping flow, including button labels, modal headings, instructions, and error messages. You can translate all of this text into any language your store supports.

Adding a language

Go to Settings > Translations and click Add language. Select the language you want to add from the list. A new set of translation fields will appear for that language, pre-filled with the English defaults.

Editing translations

Each translatable string has a text field where you can enter your custom text. Strings are grouped by where they appear in the split shipping flow: cart page, address step, item assignment step, review step, and general labels. Edit any field and save to update what customers see.

What text is translatable

You can translate the checkbox label, button text, modal headings, step instructions, form labels (like “Gift note” and “Delivery instructions”), action buttons (“Next,” “Back,” “Continue to checkout”), error messages, and empty state text. Every piece of text that a customer sees during the split shipping flow can be customized.

How it works

Multi Ship automatically detects the customer’s language based on your Shopify store’s locale settings. If a translation exists for that language, it is used. Otherwise, the default English text is shown.
