Watermarks

Add invisible and visible watermarks to images

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Overview

Watermarks add an extra layer of protection by marking your images — either visibly to deter copying, or invisibly to trace the source of leaked images. Both watermark types require the Advanced plan.

Invisible Watermark

Adds a nearly invisible text overlay to your images containing a unique session identifier. The watermark is not noticeable during normal browsing, but it’s captured in any screenshot or screen recording.

If a watermarked image appears on another site, you can trace it back to the specific visitor session that captured it. This is particularly useful for:

  • Identifying which visitor leaked your product images

  • Building evidence for copyright takedown requests

  • Deterring theft when visitors know watermarks are present

Visible Watermark

Overlays a customizable text watermark directly on your images. This is a visual deterrent — visitors can see the watermark and know the images are protected.
