Overview
Content Protection blocks common ways visitors copy text and save pages from your store. These features are available on all plans.
Full Page Right-Click Lock
Disables the right-click context menu across your entire store — not just on images, but on all page content. This prevents visitors from accessing options like “Save As”, “Copy”, or “Inspect Element” through the context menu.
When disabled, right-click is only blocked on images (via Image Protection). Enable this for broader coverage across all page content.
Copy & Paste Lock
Blocks keyboard shortcuts for copying and pasting:
Ctrl+C / Cmd+C (Copy)
Ctrl+V / Cmd+V (Paste)
Ctrl+A / Cmd+A (Select All)
This prevents visitors from selecting and copying your product descriptions, pricing, or other text content.
File Save Lock
Blocks the Ctrl+S / Cmd+S keyboard shortcut, preventing visitors from saving your page as an HTML file. Without this, a visitor could save the entire page — including images and text — to their computer.
Enabling Content Protection
Open the Photolock app
Go to Settings > Content Protection
Toggle on the features you want
Click Save
Changes take effect immediately on your live store.
