Option values are the choices within selection-type options. Each value can have its own price, image, and linked product. Setting up values correctly ensures customers see the right choices and pricing.

Adding Option Values

For dropdown, radio button, checkbox, and swatch options:

  1. Create or edit an option

  2. In the Option Values section, click Add value

  3. Enter the value name (what customers see)

  4. Repeat for all choices

Values appear in the order you add them. Drag to reorder if needed.

Setting Prices

Add extra charges for specific option values:

  1. In the Pricing Settings section, find the value

  2. Click Select price next to the value

  3. Choose a product/variant to pull the price from, or enter a custom amount

  4. The price displays next to the value name on the storefront

Note: Pricing features require the Growth plan or higher.

Attaching Products

Link a product to an option value to:

  • Pull the price from that product automatically

  • Use the product’s image for swatches

  • Keep pricing in sync if the product price changes

To attach a product:

  1. Click Select price for the value

  2. Use the product picker to find and select a product

  3. Choose the specific variant if applicable

  4. The product’s price and image are linked

Uploading Value Images

For swatch options, add images to show colors or patterns:

  1. Click the image placeholder next to a value

  2. Select an image file from your computer

  3. The image displays as the swatch on your storefront

Images should be square for best results. 100x100 pixels works well.

Default Value Selection

Pre-select a value for customers:

  1. Scroll to Default Selection in the option form

  2. Choose which value should be pre-selected

  3. Customers can still change their selection

Leave empty to require customers to make an active choice.

Hiding Prices

If you don’t want customers to see additional charges:

  1. In Pricing Settings, enable Hide Prices from Customers

  2. Prices still apply at checkout, but aren’t displayed on product pages

This is useful for psychological pricing or when price differences might discourage selection.
