Address Autocomplete

As customers type an address or city, suggestions appear:

  • Powered by your selected map provider (Mapbox or Google)

  • Suggests addresses, cities, and landmarks

  • Works with partial addresses and common abbreviations

Customers can select a suggestion or type a full address and press Enter.

Geolocation (Use My Location)

Let customers search from their current location:

  • “Use my location” button appears near the search box

  • Requires customer permission (browser prompt)

  • Falls back to IP-based location if GPS unavailable

Enable or disable this feature in Settings > Search Options.

Search Radius Options

Configure the distance radius dropdown:

  • Set available options (e.g., 5, 10, 25, 50, 100 miles)

  • Choose the default radius for new searches

  • Larger default radius works better for sparse location coverage

Category Filters

If your locations have different types or services, let customers filter:

  • Filter by location type (e.g., “Retail Store”, “Service Center”)

  • Filter by services offered (e.g., “Repairs”, “Returns”)

  • Multiple filters can be selected at once

Set up categories in Settings > Categories, then assign them to locations.

Results Sorting

Control how search results are ordered:

  • By Distance (default) - Nearest locations first

  • By Name - Alphabetical order

  • By Relevance - Considers distance and other factors

The sort order can be changed by customers using a dropdown.

No Results Message

Customize the message shown when no locations match:

  • Explain the search didn’t find results

  • Suggest trying a larger radius

  • Provide alternative contact methods
