If Turbo doesn't seem to be speeding up your store, follow these steps to diagnose and fix the issue.

If Turbo doesn’t seem to be working, here’s how to fix it.

Check if Turbo is Enabled

The most common issue is that Turbo hasn’t been enabled in your theme:

  1. Go to your Shopify admin

  2. Click Online Store then Themes

  3. Click Customize on your current theme

  4. Look for App embeds in the left sidebar

  5. Find Turbo and make sure it’s turned ON

  6. Click Save

Other Speed Apps

If you’re using another speed or prefetch app, try disabling it temporarily. Some apps can conflict with each other.

Theme Conflicts

Rarely, some custom themes may not work well with Turbo. If you’ve checked everything above and it’s still not working, contact our support team.
