Sometimes merchants need to part ways. Here's what you need to know about transitioning away from Pasilobus.

Before You Leave

Consider your options:

  • Downgrade instead - Move to a lower Store Care tier or free support

  • Pause apps temporarily - Keep settings but stop billing

  • Keep only essentials - Remove extra apps, maintain critical ones

Remember to export your data:

  • Download invoices from cloud.pasilobus.com

  • Save important settings

  • Backup any custom documentation

How to Cancel

Public Apps

  1. Go to Shopify Admin β†’ Apps

  2. Click "Delete" on the app

  3. Billing stops immediately

πŸ’‘ Tip: You can reinstall the app anytime. Your data will temporarily remain unless you specifically request deletion.

Private Apps

  1. Request removal through support

  2. We'll coordinate timing

  3. Export your data first

⚠️ Warning: When we remove a private app, it's deleted from our infrastructure entirely - not just disconnected from your store. Since these apps are custom-built and occupy resources on our servers, removal means complete deletion. If you wanted the same functionality again later, it would require rebuilding and redeploying to our infrastructure as a new project.

Store Care Plans

  1. Provide 30 days notice via support

  2. Changes take effect next billing cycle

  3. Can reactivate anytime

⚠️ Early Termination: If you're on an annual or 6-month Store Care contract and cancel early, you're still responsible for the remaining contract value. Monthly plans can cancel anytime with 30 days notice.
