The customer wishlist page is where customers view and manage their saved products. It’s accessible via the quick access widget or a direct URL.

Accessing the Page

Customers can access their wishlist through:

  1. Quick Access Widget - The wishlist icon in your header or floating button

  2. Direct URL - Navigate to /a/wishlist (or your custom path)

  3. Navigation Link - A link you add to your store menu

Page Features

Viewing Saved Items

The page displays all saved products with:

  • Product image

  • Product name

  • Variant information (if applicable)

  • Current price (updates dynamically)

  • Add to Cart button

  • Remove button

Variant Selection

If a product has multiple variants:

  • A dropdown shows available variants

  • Selecting a variant updates the price and image

  • Add to Cart uses the selected variant

Add to Cart

Customers can add wishlist items directly to their cart:

  • Click “Add to Cart” on any item

  • Items are added without leaving the page

  • Cart count updates automatically

Removing Items

Customers can remove items:

  • Click the remove/trash icon on any item

  • Item is immediately removed

  • A confirmation message appears

Multiple Lists

When multiple lists are enabled:

  • Tabs appear at the top of the page

  • Customers can switch between lists

  • Each list shows its items separately

  • Customers can create, rename, and delete lists

Customizing the Page URL

You can change the wishlist page URL:

  1. Go to app Settings

  2. Find the Proxy URL section

  3. Enter your preferred path (e.g., /pages/wishlist)

  4. Click Save

Note: The path must use a Shopify app proxy prefix.

Page Styling

The page is designed to match your theme automatically using:

  • Your theme’s typography

  • Your theme’s colors

  • Your theme’s button styles

  • Responsive layouts

For advanced customization, add custom CSS in your theme.

Guest Access

When guest wishlists are enabled:

  • Guests see their saved items

  • A guest ID is passed in the URL automatically

  • Email capture prompt may appear

When guest wishlists are disabled:

  • Non-logged-in visitors see a login prompt

  • They’re directed to create an account or sign in

Mobile Experience

The page is fully responsive:

  • Grid layout adjusts to screen size

  • Touch-friendly buttons

  • Scrollable on smaller screens

  • Native-feeling interactions

Empty State

When no items are saved:

  • A friendly message appears

  • Encourages customers to start shopping

  • May include a link to collections or search

To add a wishlist link to your store navigation:

  1. Go to Online Store > Navigation in Shopify Admin

  2. Edit your main menu

  3. Add a menu item:

    • Name: Wishlist

    • Link: /a/wishlist

  4. Click Save
