Getting Store Locator running on your store takes just a few minutes. Install from the Shopify App Store, add the app block to your theme, and start adding locations.

Installing from the App Store

  1. Visit the Store Locator app listing on the Shopify App Store

  2. Click Add app to begin the installation

  3. Review the permissions and click Install app

Adding Store Locator to Your Theme

After installation, add the Store Locator app block to your theme. You can either create a dedicated store locator page or add the block to an existing page.

Create a Dedicated Page

The recommended approach is to create a dedicated page for your store locator:

  1. In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Pages

  2. Click Add page

  3. Enter a title such as “Store Locator” or “Find a Store”

  4. Click Save

  5. Go to Online Store > Themes and click Customize on your active theme

  6. In the theme editor, use the page dropdown at the top to navigate to your new page

  7. Click Add section

  8. Under Apps, select Store Locator

  9. Click Save

Add to an Existing Page

You can also add the store locator to any existing page:

  1. Go to Online Store > Themes and click Customize

  2. Navigate to the page where you want the store locator (e.g., Contact page)

  3. Click Add section or Add block

  4. Under Apps, select Store Locator

  5. Position the block where you want it to appear

  6. Click Save

Add to Your Navigation Menu

Make it easy for customers to find your store locator:

  1. Go to Online Store > Navigation

  2. Select the menu to edit (e.g., Main menu or Footer menu)

  3. Click Add menu item

  4. Enter a name like “Locations” or “Find a Store”

  5. Link to the store locator page you created

  6. Click Save menu

Dashboard Overview

The Store Locator dashboard gives you quick access to everything:

  • Locations - View, add, and manage your store locations

  • Settings - Configure map provider, appearance, and behavior

  • Import - Bulk import locations from CSV files

  • Analytics - Track how customers interact with your store locator
