Getting Product Options running on your store takes just a few minutes. Install from the Shopify App Store, then follow the guided setup wizard to add the options block to your theme—no code required.
Installing from the App Store
Visit the Product Options app listing on the Shopify App Store
Click Add app to begin the installation
Follow the prompts to complete installation
Theme Setup Wizard
After installation, the theme setup wizard guides you through activating Product Options on your storefront:
Choose theme - Select which theme to install on
Enable app embed - Activates Product Options functionality
Add options block - Places the options form on product pages
The wizard handles all theme integration automatically.
Adding the App Block
The Product Options block displays your custom options on product pages:
Go to Online Store > Themes > Customize
Select Products > Default product from the page dropdown
In the product section, click Add block
Choose Product Options from the Apps list
Drag to position (typically below variant selector, above Add to Cart)
Click Save
Verifying Installation
To confirm Product Options is properly installed:
Create an option group with at least one option
Assign a product to the option group
Open that product page in a new browser tab
Look for your custom options on the page
