List Sharing

The Pasilobus Wishlist & Supply List app offers an exciting feature that allows your customers to share their wishlists publicly, enhancing their shopping experience and potentially drawing in new customers.

This article will guide both store owners and customers on how to activate and use this functionality.

For Store Owners: Activating the Sharing Feature



Before your customers can start sharing their wishlists, you'll need to enable this feature. Here's how:

Step 1: Log into your Shopify admin panel at [yourstorename].myshopify.com/admin.

Step 2: Go to the "Apps" section on the left-hand sidebar and click on the Pasilobus Wishlist & Supply List app.

Step 3: In the app settings, locate the 'Customer Portal' settings.



Step 4: Enable the sharing feature and remember to save your changes.



You have now activated the sharing functionality for your customers.

For Customers: Sharing Wishlists Publicly



Once the sharing feature is activated, your customers can share their wishlists publicly using these steps:

Step 1: Log into their account on your store's site.

Step 2: Go to their wishlist page and open a list.



Step 3: Click the 'Share' button on the wishlist screen.



Step 4: They'll be prompted to enable the 'Generate Public Link' setting if it's not already enabled.



Step 5: After enabling the 'Generate Public Link' setting, they can click the 'Share' button again.



Step 6: They'll receive a public link which they can share with others.



Note on Privacy



Please remind your customers that any shared wishlist will be accessible to anyone who has the link. They should be comfortable with the items on their wishlist being publicly viewable before sharing.
